Vrs owners - suspension - what are you running?

So I put a pair of pattern springs on the front, and they're a bit, err random. They'd probably be ok on a 1.2, but they don't like having VAGS finest boat engine sat on them.

I thing I need to bite the bullet and buy something decent. What have you got on yours and how do you find it?

I don't want a big drop, and nothing harsh because the roads round here are shocking.
