Seat release handle for Fabia II Estate

Anyone know where I can get a replacement seat release handle for the Fabia II? I have trawled the net and not found anywhere that has the Left side rear seat handle though I have found the right side and ones for the Fabia I/Jetta. I found a useful guide (actually for a VW but the mechanism is almost identical) which showed me how to fold the seat without the handle and how to replace the handle but I can't seem to find anywhere with the required part.

Fabia mk2 Monte Carlo grill 2013 plate

How do I, if I can, remove the front grill? I want to add a tsi badge to it but can't reach to screw it on without removing the grill, I have the Torx t30 Allen key, just can't see where or how to remove without removing the whole bumper, thanks

Planning on replacing these with some colour, are all the hoses the same ID, I believe it is 3/4mm but not 100% sure if they all are.

Having recently purchased my first fabia I'm wondering what accessories everyone would recommend. I've seen the door bins and sunglasses holder. So anything along those lines. Is it easy to install the sunglasses holder?

Interior squeaks

I've had my Fabia MC since January. I have a few squeaks in it, I think they are all down to the interior plastics. Tends to be when I go over a bit of a rough bump in a road. Is this a bit of a Fabia thing? Can anyone suggest anything as I'd be begrudged to have to humour Skoda telling me that they can't hear anything!

Hi all

I've just ordered my Fabia Estate and of course now I'm second guessing my options. I currently have a fabia but went for an estate this time so I could carry my golf clubs in the boot instead of on the back seat. My extras so far are the variable floor, piano white insert and blue seats and heated seats however I keep thinking back to the Kessy Go option and how I hate having to dog around in my handbag to find my keys. Does anyone have Kessy Go and if so do you love it or is it just so so?!?!

Can't wait for my new car - love my fabia II (my first skoda) and the III looks even better

H&R Cup Suspension

Hi I am a proud New Owner of a Mk1 Fabia VRS SE.

 

I was contemplating getting the H&R cup suspension from Awesomegti as I dont fancy rock hard coilovers due to the quality of roads where I live so saw this kit with drops the ride height by 40mm.

 

Has anyone here fitted this kit? also would I need shortened drop links? or would the standard length ones suffice?

The Off Side side light on my 58 plate Fabia 2 has failed
I looked in the handbook (which isn't much help) but cant see any way for access into this area without taking the headlight out?

Any ideas? There is no access from under the wing as the fuel filter is in the way.

New OEM Armrest - Have I got a faulty one?

After some advice from anyone who has fitted the OEM armrest to their Fabia -

 

Mine arrived yesterday and I've started to fit it tonight. Its gone fine until I needed to attach the metal bit that goes between the plastic riser from the floor and the arm rest. It doesn't seem to be threaded yet the instructions show the bolt going through into it, and the bolt isn't a self tapper.

 

Have I either got a faulty one, or am I being thick?

 

I'll try and attach a couple of photos of the hole in question.

Rear Strut Mount Rust !Warning!

On going to change my rear bump stops ive come across a hidden rust spot under the arch liner. Luckily ive caught mine early but it worth checking your own!

The top rear strut mount is structural so you dont want rust taking hold here!

Here is my 2007 VRS at 118K both sides are similar, ive started to clean mine up here with the wire wheel.

I am driving skoda fabia 2011 with blues radio system.
I am just wondering if I can replace factory fitted (blues) radio with sony xplod system or not.

I went to buy new audio system today and the guy suggested me to seek help of a professional as according to him 2011 fabia have some computer system attached to radio system. Is that true? If yes ! What would be the best way to play songs from usb stick?
